No watering and no mowing needed–laying artificial grass in your backyard gives you the benefit of keeping a soft and green lawn all year round. Our Taskers can apply their skills and expertise to ensure a quicker and more efficient installation of your new synthetic grass. Not limited to residential applications, but they can also work on the sports field, offices, commercial decks, and more. Here's what you can expect:
Laying artificial grass on soil
If you're planning to fit your artificial grass on soil, then your Tasker might have to install an adequate sub-base for best results. Since synthetic turfs are porous, laying them directly on soil might lead to early damages, wrinkles, and unsightly gaps on rainy days. The sub-surface will act as alternative drainage for your turf, and it will also even out the surface. Then follows the installation of borders if needed, underlay materials, and then your new artificial grass.
Take note, however, that it is essential to clean your space at least a week before the scheduled installation. If you have no time to do the task yourself, you can also book our Taskers to clear your soil and destroy weeds, vegetation, or any living substances that might grow in the area.
Laying artificial grass on concrete
While it is easier to install your synthetic materials on concrete than on soil, only experts can make your lawn smooth and well-drained. Before the installation, your Tasker assesses your concrete patio. If it has a broken or crumbled concrete foundation, then you may want to consider hiring a professional concrete contractor first to correct the damage. Laying artificial grass on a damaged or crumbled concrete foundation is downright risky, plus it might even cost you more in the future. But if the concrete is still relatively flat, then our Taskers can proceed with the standard installation process.
Laying artificial grass on decking
As long as the artificial turf is installed on a well-maintained decking, you won't have to worry. The exact inclusion of the service depends on the actual application. It usually involves checking the quality and condition of your old decking, cleaning of the surface, and laying of the synthetic grass on your deck. For an efficient water runoff, you can request for a slight gradient. Installation of weed control fabric membrane is also advisable to control the growth of weeds.
Replace grass with artificial grass
Are you tired of regularly maintaining your lawn? Then you might want to consider switching to synthetic turf. We can lend a helping hand when it comes to replacing your grass with artificial ones. To ensure an efficient drainage system, our Taskers may need to remove the real grass along with the top layer of the soil and install a sub-base. Once settled, they can add another base or underlying material to even the surface, and then finally lay down your new synthetic grass mat.
