I have an LG TV that turns on / the LG logo comes up and then the screen goes black. You can hear the tv show, just can’t see it. I’ve tried to do the reset that I’ve read about but perhaps I’m not doing it right. I'll have the wall mount and bolts for the TV, but I'm not sure if there's studs and what kind of studs they are, so I don't know what plugs will be needed for the wall. I've got a 55 inch TV that comes with a specific type of wall mount. The wall mount needs to go into a plasterboard wall to be hung. You can install a small sheet of plywood into the studs if you think its best. I don't have any plywood though, but I could buy some if needed. The TV weighs around 17kg.
