I have a brivis star pro plus Mx 21 ducted heating unit which has an error of postpurge o’heat s (or 5) A on the outside unit. I have checked all ducts etc and they are fine but I cannot reset. Think it might be the thermistor but not sure. Need to get some heat going as the house has been closed up for 6 weeks.

My old gas central heating unit has died. My friends gave me their unused one from their new house (that wanted one with aircon..). My old unit is installed on a shelf at the back of my garage (which is at the front of the house). I’ve been told I will need a new flue though as mine is PVC, but the ducts are fine.
