Build Portable Air Conditioner Window Adapter

$150

Elizabeth Bay NSW, Australia

4th Feb 2020

Hi there, I need portable air conditioner window adapter made to replace the plastic one, which came with my new unit, which is 15cm too short for my my window. I’m thinking a piece of wood, cut to size, to replicate the plastic kit. Painted white to seal and match the window frame. I need a hinged flap on the outside of the exhaust hole, for weather protection. Two small knobs to allow the adapter to be easily installed and removed from window. Suggest a slot at the top Of the adapter for the window to slot into, to prevent the adapter from falling out.... The air conditioner exhaust pipe connector needs to lock into the finished product and be airtight to prevent air blowing back I tot he apartment. Maybe using screws? I’ve included some pix showing what I’ve got set up using gaffs tape. Please contact me if your interested. Thanks David

Full window panel dog door installation

$300

Elizabeth Bay NSW 2011, Australia

4th Jan 2017

We have a full panel dog door (the kind that fits into a sliding glass patio door) that we would like installed. It needs extension panels added to the top to make it tall enough to fit (provided) and to make it even more complicated, it needs to be installed on a corner which will require cutting off some of the aluminum casing for it to fit over the corner. I would also like the male part of my door lock drilled into it so it will lock properly with the other door.

Cut out a window insert for aircon outlet

$50

Elizabeth Bay, New South Wales, Australia

11th Nov 2018

I have a portable air-conditioner. It requires an outlet via the window. Problem is that I can’t seal it out. I’d like someone to cut a Perspex or similar fitting for the window gap that I can insert the outlet to. The fitting would work a bit like a frame for mozzie wire - just tall enough to slot into the window height, and just wide enough to fit the window width, within the rails that already exist. And it would have a perfect circle cut in the centre to fit my outlet pipe. Happy to send some measurements but it would be best if you come and measure it too. The pics show the window it’ll go in, and a close up of the rails in the window frame it’ll slot between. The last one shows the outlet pipe and the current window fitting which isn’t tall enough for the window, and a round clear connector that I’ll remove and use in your Perspex fitting to fit the a/c outlet pipe to the fitting. Thanks!

Removal/reassembly of bars on outdoor window

$70

Coogee NSW 2034, Australia

8th Mar 2021

Washing machine has somehow moved when in use blocking door to get into laundry room. Only way I can see for being able to get in is to remove metal bars (picture attached) and climb in. Will need to be put back afterwards. Screws lol very rusted so would imagine might need to be angle grinded off and then put back on.

Open a stuck window

$25

Elizabeth Bay NSW 2011, Australia

7th Feb 2017

I painted a window a couple of months ago, then closed it, the timber expanded in the humidity and now it's stuck! Argh! I need some fresh air but I don't have enough muscles. $20 bonus if you can open it

So efficient, accommodating and personable. Thanks!
