The existing timber frame to a single window has rotted and needs replacing. It is most likely only a small job but could be more involved depending on the extent of damage to any underlying timber studs which will only be known after the work begins. The window is approximately 1.01m wide (measured jamb to jamb) and 1.05m tall (measured head to sill). We would like the style of the new frame to match the existing. Paint the new frame to match existing. I am unsure of the existing colour but it would be close to Colorbond Cottage Green which would be fine. The timber rot is suspected to have affected the underlying studs as well. If the new frame can be installed securely without having to repair any stud damage than this would be acceptable. The new frame will need to be able to comfortably support the existing automatic awning which will need to be removed and reinstated to facilitate the frame replacement. Whilst it hasn't been tested, the existing fibro lining is almost certainly ACM (asbestos containing material) and will need to be treated as such. Please do not bid for the work if you are not prepared to remove and replace some of the asbestos containing fibro to repair stud damage (if necessary) without fuss for a reasonable rate. - Due date: Before Saturday, 12 August 2023

We've recently had wasps exterminated (on Mon) but the nest remains and is located behind a bedroom wall. The nest may (or may not) need to be properly removed but the wall behind which it was built, needs to be repaired per the pics. We need someone professional to come around and assess and do the job at the same time (not sure if it's going to involve cutting out section of wall and re-plastering, or something more superficial).
