Hi there, I'm looking for someone who can help me with a temporary fix for the edge of my carpet. My cat has been scratching it and I need a solution to prevent further damage. She stays in her room while we sleep and typically scratches early hours of the morning when she’s hungry before we have woken up to feed her. Ideally, I'd like a mat to be cut out in a specific way to cover all edges around and in front and behind the door. The mat should be durable and able to withstand scratching and ideally something that is more attractive than the terrible tape I currently have there! Please let me know if you have experience with this sort of task and what materials you would recommend. Feel free to ask any questions if clarification is needed.
