I need a reliable Airtasker to help assemble/install my Install Corten Steel Letterbox. Additional notes: Hi I need the a new letter box installed at the end of my driveway. The manufacturer says it should take 60min to install. I will be there to help. You will need to supply tools . I will bring the rapidset concrete bags and the timber as per instructions below. This is a pretty easy job, I am handy but have never worked with concrete so want someone to help me accurately put this into place( it weighs about 30kg) And here is the instructions for the box installation. Materials required: - Rapidset concrete - 4 bags - 2 pieces of scrap timber or equivalent Tools required: - Shovel for digging holes - Hose/water for rapidset - Spanner/shifter for tightening bolts on legs - Spirit level Step 1: Preparation for installation 1. Determine the location where your letterbox is to be mounted 2. Dig two holes of approximately 450mm deep x 300mm diameter at centres according to your letterbox size as shown below. 3. Place two pieces of timber or equivalent of approx 45mm high x 250mm+ long in between the holes for box to sit on when rapidset is setting. 1200mm 820mm 500mm Large Medium Medium XL Step 2: Installation 1. With the letterbox laying down on its back attach the left hand and right hand legs using the bolts supplied 2. Tighten all four bolts with a spanner until tight (Note: welded nuts go inside box) 3. Stand letterbox upright (while taking care to not place too much strain on the legs) 4. Move into position over the holes and sit on top of the timber 5. If you have the lighting option - connect any lead in cables to the internal LED lightstrip at this point. 6. Using a spirit level to level the box - Follow instructions for mixing of rapidset and use two bags per hole 7. Once the rapidset has set backfill the holes with soil and compact 8. Wash down the letterbox of any concrete dust and then sit back and enjoy! I will be there to help This task was created using a Template. I need an old wooden free standing letterbox removed and a new metal one, on a post, installed. See photo. The old one is pretty loose in the ground so I don’t foresee any difficult removing it. The new one is a basic black metal one from Bunnings. I also need 2 x 900 long floating shelves installed in a laundry gyprock wall. I have the letterbox and the shelves already, You’ll need to supply tools and quickset concrete. The shelves come with fixings
Bernard was prompt and did a fantastic job, would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thanks Bernard 😊
