Need a gyprocker or handyman to remove gyprock from a low ceiling, clear damage/moisture from area including insulation batts. No external damage to ceiling, but a smell from upstairs leak. 1,Find gap between floor joists and remove a 600mm square. 2, Create small hole at first to locate wires, then use gyprock saw to cut neatly. 3, Create 40mm rebate on edge of ceiling to allow new tape when new section inserted. New section of gyprock trim rebates too. 4, Fit timber pieces on all four sides to carry new gyprock, glued and screwed. 5,Remove wet sound insulation, leave for two days and then start to close hole. 6, Ensure gyprock is right size, 10mm or 13mm or pack perfectly. 7, Use base coat first, leave just under. 8, Next day light sand and apply top coat 9, Next day light sand and touch ups if required.
Great communication and quality of work.
