My old garage door opener creates huge noise and vibrations while in Operation. I want to replace it with new one.

Need to cover a gap above the garage door to the ceiling with a panel made of wood/steel/aluminium - am open to suggestions. The rectangular section to be covered measures 30cm (height) x 390cm (length). The top/ceiling is concrete, one side is concrete, other side is plasterboard wall, bottom is where the garage door retracts. This may require fitting a long metal L-shaped angle (or anything similar) along the ceiling to which the panel made of either wood or metal sheets or steel mesh can be fixed to cover the gap. Refer pics for better clarity. Can pay for material, based on receipts or reasonable estimate in case you have material on hand.
