Two original 60s aluminium windows need a reseal and maybe new glass to be weather tight. 8 sash pieces in total, see photos. Being in a heritage listed building means new windows are difficult and we’d prefer to maintain the original ones. The glass rubbers have degraded causing the glass to drop and expose small whistling gaps. The seals are brittle and don’t… well seal. Don’t really know the effort involved so feel free to comment on the price. I believe the sash frames could be removed and taken offsite for repair. 100 or so other apartments in the building with these windows, so there is a good chance of additional work if done well. - Due date: Flexible
