I require urgent assistance in attaching a new door knob onto my bedroom door. I have already purchased a brand new Ikonic Ruby Entrance Door knob (with lock and key) from Bunnings and provided the measurements of my door to the assistant who confirmed this should just fit into the current/old door knob setting. I currently have a regular round silver passage way door knob attached to my bedroom, however have recently been wanting to upgrade my security slightly by swapping it over with a door knob that I can lock from the outside of my bedroom (for times that I am away and require additional privacy and security for my belongings). I am happy to provide any additional information if it is required, otherwise I will attach photos of my current door knob as well as pictures of the replacement and instruction installation guide to give you a better idea.
