One bracket of my bedframe was installed incorrectly 10 years ago and I've been making do ever since, however it looks like over time it has warped and now the screws don't go in. I don't know if the bracket should be adjusted or replaced. Don't mind either way as long as I get my bed back!

Remove existing latch. Install new one. Screws are well stuck. I can’t do it myself. The barrel isn’t catching and needs to be replaced. I have the replacement latch.
