Need 1x timber gate built to fix fencing issue. Merbau, hinges, screws and gate lock kit will be provided. Pine and any other materials needed for frame will need to be supplied. Fence will be painted afterwards but we will do this.Stable intact posts are already concreted into the ground.

There’s a section of fence in my back yard which is to be replaced with 2 gates. The section of fence is vertical wood slats, extends from a corner post and is approx. 5 metres long. The job consists of: Demolition of the 5 metre section of fence and removing same from property and disposing of appropriately. Installing 2 posts (one for each gate). Hanging gates. Attaching colourbond to gates (to maintain privacy). Colourbond to be approximately same height as fence. Identify and organise materials for the job. I’ll pay for the materials prior to the job commencing and between us we’ll arrange delivery of the materials. The price for the job is for labour only. I’ve put a figure of $500 for the job’s labour but this is approximate and is negotiable.

Our iron gate hinge has snapped due to being pushed the wrong direction. It needs to be welded back onto the brick pillar it was attached to as it currently cannot be opened or closed. - Due date: Flexible

The fence section is about 15 metres. The wooden rails on the other side have rotted but the seven steel supports in the ground are still strong and the iron sheets can be reused. Bolts should be replaced and there could be as many as 280 involved. Plants on that side will be cleared before work starts. The section of fence runs from the side of a shed to the back of a house and a newer fence. The steel posts are about 2.6 metres apart. About 15 metres of wood is needed for the length of iron involved - the wood that is there now has rotted. Work could be done in early January instead but preference given to earlier. Also happy to discuss costings if you can tell me what the wood (treated pine) would cost, and how much labour is involved. - Due date: Before Friday, 22 December 2023
