Garden bed soil is possibly clay mixture and hard to dig (I could dig holes for plants with shovel but it took some effort). Suggest using equipment to break down dirt for removal to speed up work. I'd like to fill space surrounding plants with mulch for weed control but if you have a better solution, please let me know!
