Looking for someone with woodwork experience to fix a wooden rocking chair. The chair is bentwood style and needs structural strengthening as it’s missing a strut on the bottom between the two rocker legs. I’d like someone to replace that strut with a piece that won’t look too out of place. And to check over the other joints to see if they need attention. Located in Glebe but can drop the chair to you. I have 2x Matt Blatt egg chairs (pictured) They are both not sitting secure in the base. They can’t hold any weight either. Continuously spin without locking tight.Have given it a go at rethreading them before realising it’s going to take more than that and someone who knows what they’re doing. I need them both fixed to securely lock while still making the base removable.
