In my hallway the floorboard have started to sink in a small area of my flat and I need to get this repaired. I think the underlay in this section crushed down a little bit, and this is the cause. I expect the work required will be bringing up the floorboards in this section, repairing the crushed underlay by adding some fresh stuff, then replacing the boards again.
