What do flooring services include?

Find good flooring contractors near you through our platform who can install, maintain, and repair your floors. Whether you're having a new house built, getting your home remodelled, or planning to apply small upgrades to a specific room, Taskers got you covered. Here's what you can expect:

Flooring installation

Taskers can take care of your flooring and installation needs, no matter what the type of flooring you want to have in your home. Whether it's carpet, hardwood, vinyl, ceramics, or laminate, your Tasker can get the job done for you.

Each type has a different installation process, but an essential aspect when it comes to floor installation is moving breakables, furniture and appliances, as well as addressing concerns related to heating and electricity.

These need to be considered beforehand to ensure a smooth installation with excellent results. You can consult your Tasker about which type of flooring suits you the best, and they can give you tips that can help you decide.

Flooring maintenance

Since you step on your floors every day, it's inevitable for them to get dirty and worn-out no matter how sturdy they are. Regular flooring maintenance doesn't just give your home a cleaner and more organised look, but it also saves you from potential damages that can lead to floor repairs and replacements.

While you can maintain your floors on your own, it's always best to leave it to the professionals to make sure every spot is well-maintained. Along with maintenance, you can also get someone to clean your floors regularly. Each type of flooring has a particular proper care and maintenance process. Make sure to talk to your Tasker about your floor's current condition, and let them help!

Flooring repair

Are your floor tiles suffering from cracks and damaged grout? Or does your hardwood floor have gaps in the planks and split wood? No matter what it is, Taskers can handle all sorts of flooring problems caused by spillage, pets, furniture moving, and others.

Getting a trusted flooring repair professional ensures that you'll get floors fixed to avoid further damages and unexpected accidents. Feel free to walk your Tasker through the issues you're having so they can come up with a concrete repair plan that suits your floor type.

Flooring upgrades

If you love your current flooring but want to take it up a notch, professional flooring upgrade services are ideal! Updating your floors can brighten up your space, and add appeal and excitement whenever you enter your home or room. You can book someone to add a stair runner, have a carpet floor fitting, or lay down a checkerboard print or any design.

You can also get someone to waterproof your bathroom floors, or give your kitchen floors a makeover! For a complete look, have your bathroom remodelled and your kitchen renovated to go with your newly-upgraded floors!

Colac treat slab for damp/lay 35 sqm floor tiles

Colac West VIC 3250, Australia

20th Nov 2016

Job located 10 km of Colac at Cororooke 1. Treat aged cement slab for dampness. Some damp areas towards external walls and in one join where the slab was extended some time later in the building's history. We will pay for damp proofing materials. 2. Lay 450 x 450 mm floor tiles (supplied) to area of approximately 35 sqm. Note: Bulk of area has been sanded level (in preparation for cement polishing that did not go ahead) and since a small kitchen has been removed and the old floor tiles under that have partially been removed. We are attempting to get the small area of remaining tiles up (2900 x 2600 mm) and that area of floor sanded - leaving an entirely level room ready for treating for damp and then tiling.
