Floor installer (now fired) did not use self-levelling compound throughout room, so there is an area that gives by about 20mm when stood on. Cannot put heavy appliances on it or install skirting tile until it is fixed. Lazy floor installer at Castle Hill says that it is a floating floor, and that trampolining 20mm is natural and to just put up with it. Sorry, several tradies and our heavy fridge and freezer say that's not good enough. Plus, there would be a 20mm gap between the floor and the skirting tile. Is that natural? He just shrugged his shoulders and kept our money. Looking for quality workmanship; not arguments and paying three times for the same task. Lift aluminium cover strip at door, lift tiles and underlay, apply self-levelling compound, and re-lay underlay and tiles - stone/plastic hybrid click-lock (not glued). We have wastage, if needed.
