I need a cement board, for use as a hearth, fixed to the currently carpeted floor. Will need to cut carpet around it and make it look neat. The floor underneath is a bit uneven with both concrete from an old hearth and floorboards, so you'll need to figure out how to deal with that, maybe with extra Plywood.

One bedroom (10sqm) on the first floor has squeaky floors. Would like to fix it and at the same time add insulation under the floor. Room has existing new carpet. Stairs to the first floor are also squeaky . Under the stairs can be accessed from the storage room below it
