Around less than 1sqms On inspection of this property and the bamboo flooring that has lifted in front of the laundry area, I can clearly say that this is an expansion issue and has nothing to do with water damage in the boards whatsoever. We know this by the fact that no boards have peaked or warped in anyway and you can see at the threshold to the laundry and at some of the skirting areas that the boards are tight up against the the tile trim, when standing on the boards you can hear it rub on the skirting boards. The trim that was used at the threshold is not the normal trim that we would use for the boards to be able to move, they have used a L trim where they should of used a C channel trim. The expansion is normal in a bamboo board, we can rectify this via taking up the quad where we need to, trimming back some boards and replacing the L trim with a C channel trim, this will give better movement to the board to expand and extract.

Bamboo flooring in a section between kitchen becnhtop and island bench has popped up due to moisture and it has become raised causing trip hazard. It needs to be pushed down and levelled up with rest of the boards. These are click- lock boards installed about 7 years ago.
