Looking for someone to help on Christmas Eve from 9.30am to 2.30pm to set up the day at a private house hosting a Christmas dinner for 30 in Boronia. Help set table, washing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen, emptying rubbish, heating food, setting up drinks area, filling it with ice drinks etc, quick vaccum and mop if needed. We have about 16 adults and 6 children for lunch. I have MS and find the whole day exhausting but am still trying to continue my traditions. I’m looking for someone to come after lunch and do the dishes, I’m using my great grandmother’s China so it needs to be hand washed. And just the pots and baking dishes won’t all fit in the dishwasher. But don’t want to have a mess that lingers for days. I understand it’s Christmas Day and anticipate that after we have eaten it would about 2 hours to wash the dishes and return them to where they belong. Im having a rotisserie spit at my home for Christmas lunch. Only a small group of around 6-8 adults and 2 children. I'm seeking a well presented, friendly person who can assist me with the below tasks: - food preparation and serving (where it can be most prep done night prior); - serving/getting guest alcoholic drinks (wine, beer, we are not big drinkers and 2 adults don't drink alcohol at all) - helping to clean up after each meal and prep for next - keeping guests happy and house / deck neat tidy and food / drinks restocked I did it all myself with my mum last year and hard to enjoy the day when you're running around doing one thing after another. Hence seeking help this year. I'm thinking 11am-3/4pm but would ask for some flexibility as it could change. Not sure the going rate so let me know I've put $30 per hr but may be neg.
