I just moved to a house and the internet technician said that the phone cable has been cut somewhere between the Tesltra box and the phone wall socket. I need someone to reconnect - and possibly move the phone socket from kitchen to living.

Currently experiencing extreme internet issues. The house has 4 active phone lines (Only need one for the internet). Constant drop outs and outages for hours on end. Put down to old lines and how they were split. Please disconnect all old phone lines and install one direct connection to the single port we use so internet works smoothly - Due date: Needs to be done on Monday, 30 January 2023

Bought a house but cannot locate the phone line for the NBN which is apparently in the roof. Need a new phone line put into the house to plug modem into. - Due date: Needs to be done on Saturday, 2 July 2022

Appropriately qualified tradesmen to possibly move phone outlet 2.5 metres so it’s coming in closer to the power point and so we can lay new skirting board. - Due date: Before Saturday, 18 June 2022

Summary: Check existing telephone cabling for FTTN / NBN and disable secondary telephone outlet. The property has a FTTN / NBN connection, however it can sometimes be patchy when it comes to performance. There is a secondary telephone outlet that is no longer required and should be disabled / disconnected so that there is only one active telephone outlet. The current cabling into the property / telephone outlet is probably ~ 20 years old so may need replacing. - Due date: Flexible

Accidentally knocked the telephone socket at home and the socket wirings were snapped apart. Would like a technician out to basically fix the existing wiring or rewire the socket if necessary and test the phone connection.

Priority: * Light switches updated so they work each time you flick a switch (kitchen, laundry as priority). At the moment, they flicker or dont work straight away when switched on. * update phone line port and installed in another room (internet). We have an old phone line socket in the house they requires an adapted in order to get internet. Needs to be updated to have cord go straight into phone line. Additional: * Install a powerpoint outside if possible * Down lights throughout house (bedrooms x 2, kitchen, toilet, laundry, loungeroom, outdoors)

I'm getting NBN dropouts on our current FTTN connection. I've been through troubleshooting steps with someone from AussieBB to the issue seems to be a noisy line. Need some repairs / replace phone line and cut an additional line that isn't used.

Connect phone line wire to wall socket and check nbn connexion. Weve been connected and have our modem but the phone line has been disconnect from the wall socket and I can't get it working again. I nees a telecommunications technician to rewire and make sur the DSL line is syncing

We’ve had an electrician look at our NBN which has been dropping out regularly. He’s informed us that our internet line in are ceiling needs to be reconnected. So I’m looking for someone to help us out with that. Thanks!

Need a phone socket for FTTB nbn connection

Phone line is not attached to the house.

I need a new point for the router/modem run from the entry point of the property. Terminating in a wall plate in the living area. Entry point and wall plate location within 5m and on ground floor. Double brick wall. No changes to existing wiring and connections.

An NBN specialist come to my place yesterday to fix the issue with my NBN speeds (I was only getting 15 Mbps downloads but paid for 50 Mbps). He looked at the Telstra box outside my house and did his diagnostics to find that it was coming in as 50 Mbps. However on the inside of the house when he plugged his diagnostics through the wall socket it came way lower. He advised that because I had multiple sockets on the wall (due to an oldish house that was using ADSL previously) it was causing issues with the speed and constant dropouts in my internet connection. He said NBN couldn't fix that but said it would be an easy fix for an electrician/technician to come and disconnect all the other sockets so there's only 1 direct connection for the NBN. Not sure if this makes sense but help required here pls to disconnect the rest of the sockets/phone line connections.
