I have a lamp that must be faulty; the dimmer switch indicates it has power but globes don’t illuminate. It seems to be temperamental and occasionally works or turns itself on unexpectedly after a while. Rewiring of a chandelier from US to Australian standards this fixture has been completely rewired with new cables and sockets to meet US standards of 110 voltage. This needs to be converted to the standard in Australia to 220V and 50Hz AC electricity. No change to the cables since they are new and just regular electrical cables.
