I am having an issue with a ceiling light in an apartment walkway. The light is controlled by a pull-string mechanism located away from the light fixture itself (Image: Red A for the switch, Blue B for the light). Previously, when I pulled the string at Point A, it made a clicking sound, and the light at Point B would turn on or off accordingly. Now, pulling the string no longer activates the light, and there's no clicking sound from the switch mechanism.

This is just a fee for a first visit to inspect the problem and quote for a solution. It's a little bit of a tricky job, so just need someone who's keen to come up with a solution and make it happen. We have an electric opening skylight on our roof (relatively easy to access). It’s 7 years old and needs a new motor installing. The current motor is no longer in production so need someone who's up for sourcing a new outdoor window motor installing it and a new rain sensor. There are other motors from the same manufacturer still available - but I'm not sure if the 'connection' to the window mechanism is the same - it may need some alteration or replacement to fit the new motor.
