    What does dog walking include?

Whether you need regular, casual, or group dog walking, you can find a dog walker who will love exercising your dog. Each dog walker will have their own unique approach, but here are some common dog walking inclusions:

    Regular dog walking

A regular dog walker will come as often as you need to supplement your dog’s walking needs when you’re unavailable to walk them yourself. Most dogs need walking for 30-60 minutes once or twice a day, while some will benefit from a walk just a couple of times a week. Before you book in, your dog walker will ask questions to determine the best schedule for your dog’s needs and suggest suitable times and days they’re available to exercise your dog. When they arrive for a session, they’ll bring along dog waste bags, treats, and put your dog on a leash. During the walk they’ll keep a lookout for unusual behaviour and alert you and/or the vet if needed. They’ll also pick up after your dog. Finally, your dog walker will return your dog back home with fresh food and water at the end of the walk.

    Casual dog walking

A casual dog walker will help with occasional dog walking when life gets a little too busy, or you have other commitments on. Your dog walker will arrive at your home, walk and play with your dog, pick up after them, and look after his/her health and wellbeing. Once the session is over, they’ll return your dog home to rest and relax. Your casual dog walking will normally include 30-60 minutes of time with your dog while they walk and play.

    Group dog walking

If your dog is well-socialised, your dog walker may offer group dog walking. This can often be more affordable, since your dog walker is providing services to multiple clients at once. Or maybe you have more than one dog that needs exercising, or your dog walker likes to bring their own pets along for the walk, too. Either way, group dog walking will give your dog the chance to socialise while out on their walk. Your dog walker will have special dog harnesses for walking, and ensure they choose dogs who are compatible with one another for a safe and enjoyable stroll.

    Feeding your dog

Most dog walkers will offer your dog food and water at your home, once the exercise is over. To make sure they provide your dog with suitable care, they’ll ask questions about your dog’s regular meal schedule, whether they take treats, any health concerns or medications, and any dietary restrictions.

    Pet sitting

Many dog walkers also offer dog sitting for long-term pet care when you’re travelling or need a companion for your dog while you’re at work. Pet sitting usually takes place in the comfort of your own home, although your pet sitter may also offer their own home. While pet sitting in your own home offers your dog a more familiar environment, at least your dog will feel comfortable with your regular dog sitter taking care of them.

Affordable exercise for you beloved pooch around the Wollongong area! Only $15 for a minimum of one hour waking, running or playing in the park for your hairy friend. I am a fit, energetic female and I have grown up around dogs my whole life. And as much as I would love to have a pooch of my own, living in a small unit doesn't allow me to. I charge $15 for an hour of walking/jogging. I provide my own plastic bags for clean up and am able to pick your pooch up in my car or walk (in Wollongong CBD) to pick up your pooch and take him or her for a nice long walk along the beach or in a park. I would love to meet your pooch with the owner around first to ensure the dog feels safe with me and visa versa. I am a school teacher, so my hours will be outside school hours or during school holidays. However, I am an early riser and also love evening strolls so I am pretty flexible. Please text or call me if you have any further questions or want to book in :)

I need a dog walker that is available in Kiama NSW. The pup will be approx 4 months old. She is a Staffy X and can get a bit excited, experience isn't necessary but patience can go a long way. I would like someone 2 or 3 times a week for dates between 23rd Dec - 9 Jan (Approximately). Being a puppy, she has a lot of energy to burn. So the walk time will vary between 1-2 hour/s. You will be paid $15 per hour. (Open for negotiations.) Hope to hear from someone soon.

Walk my boy, Connor for 30mins - 1 hr during the day as I work in Canterbury and won't get home til 5pm when it's dark. He is a bit protective of me and occasionally growls/ barks at other dogs that come too close. I have been trying to get him to focus "look" and it is starting to work. If you want you can do some training with him and I can show you some of what he can do.

    Dog Walking

    Gwynneville NSW, Australia

    2nd Jan 2019

Hi there, I am in need of someone to privately walk my two staffies from the 3-6th of January (4 walks). Buddy (male) is 4 years old and Peppa (girl) is 6. They get along great together & love to run around in the park. There is a park about 5 minutes walk from the house that is easy and convenient to get to. They would probably need 45 minutes (including the walk to the park) to get all of their energy out. Mid morning would preferably be the best time to walk them before it gets too hot. My Nanna will be at the house and will provide you with the leads & ball.
