I have a Western Digital 1TB passport drive which won't mount on my computer. Not sure what's on it. Would like to retrieve the data, and fix the drive so it's usable after that, if possible. Secondly I have 2 iphone 4's that won't turn on. They attempt to but just can't quite get there. I need to retrieve data off them also. If you are definite you can help with this please get in touch. Any tips or advice are also welcomed. Thanks, Ross

Recover files from a corrupted usb

My USB which contains my thesis work has corrupted and I have lost about a weeks worth of writing since the last time I backed it up. The USB is a SanDisk Cruzer switch 16gb. When I plug it into my home PC, it will eventually show up in "my computer" as a removable disk (not the actual name) but is empty and its properties says that 0 bytes of 0 are used. On my laptop, the USB makes the connected/disconnected noise but does not show up at all in "this pc". I have obviously tried multiple PC's and ports. Plus other USBs still work fine.
