NBN FTTP installed about 6 weeks ago (Upgrade from FTTC). - Exetel are my Service provider. Worked pefectly from the start until about a week ago when I observed a Red Light on my Modem / Router - It was the Internet light. I need data from an external hard drive (Western Digital SE Elements 1TB) recovered urgently. It contains important music projects and business documents that are needed tomorrow. I already own a new SSD (Samsung t7 1TB) for documents to be transferred to. I'm available to have this service done at the soonest time possible. After running some tests myself I believe it is a mechanical failure. The drive had 0 issues until it was dropped from knee height onto carpet. When plugged into a computer it is recognised but does not show up on windows explorer. In disk manager it shows a drive that needs to be initialised. Using a WD drive program I was able to find out that the drive fails a SMART analysis and shows 0mb of storage.
