I have a first generation iPad which won't turn on. I purchased a new charging cable but it hasn't worked. Apple consider the iPad to be obsolete and therefore won't service/repair.

I’ve been running into issues with my home internet connection, I’ve called my service provider to check and it isn’t on their end. I have a new vdsl2 modem which is connecting to my computer and phone via wifi but I’m not actually able to load anything at all. My modem is compatible with the type of nbn connection to my apartment and doesn’t need an nbn box, so I’m pretty stumped.
