Technical Support
What do computer support services include?
Computer support has evolved from the highly technical tasks of wiring or coding. Nowadays, you can have a tech specialist helping you without the hefty fees or long waiting times. Plus, with technology being the norm, there are so many things that you can have done by a customer specialist – whether it be for your chores or business.
This service isn't just for the technology-challenged, too. Even those who fully grasp software programs and computer parts may need an extra hand now and then.
If you're curious what a computer support technician can help you with, we've listed down a few!
Home office configuration
If you still haven't set up your home office or plan to upgrade, we can connect you with computer network support specialists to help you seamlessly integrate each device into the ecosystem.
You'll be surprised at how many things can get done faster if you wirelessly connect your printer to all laptops and desktops at home or when the Wi-Fi connection extends to all corners of the house. You can even produce a whole live stream video with almost the same quality as a professional audiovisual tech studio with the right home office setup.
E-commerce setup and management
With all of the advances in online shopping and last-mile delivery, opening a digital shop has become more and more enticing to entrepreneurs. There's more opportunity for you to reach your ideal market, even if they live miles away from you.
If your current challenge is setting up your e-commerce store, then you've come to the right place. Taskers can help you get your store up and running, ready to accept orders. If you're a service-based business or just starting out, you can also hire a Wix developer to minimize the costs of a fully coded website.
For product-based shops, you may want to get assistance from product testers, too. You'll get solid feedback without the risk of damaging your brand. They can help you improve your product's formulation, design, and overall quality.
Software troubleshooting
Are you having a hard time with your computer software? Let computer support specialists assist you in checking what's wrong and explaining how to fix it remotely. Our Taskers aim to be courteous and helpful when working with you. Computers keep evolving, so there's always something new to learn. Even computer science students need tutors, and developers need to attend training. There's no need at all to feel ashamed if a software or iOS prompt confuses you.
If you're ready to get help for your computer conundrum, simply put up a task in our easy-to-use platform to find a specialist near you.

Need help with a few IT issues
$200
Dianella WA, Australia
30th Sep 2023
Hi, I need some help with a couple of IT issues with my home workspace IT configuration. I have one work laptop (Dell) and a much newer Dell laptop, and I do have two docking stations with both the laptops. I am connected to two LCD monitors as dual screens, all standard ports available and I have the various cables as well. Issue 1 The issue has been I want to switch seamlessly between the two laptops using the two dual screens without much fiddling of and swapping of cables. Initially I was using the Plugable DisplayPort and HDMI Dual Monitor Adapter for USB 3.0 and USB-C. (I still have that). Recently for more flexibility I also purchased the much more expensive “Plugable 16-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 Dock with 100W Charging, 4K Quad Monitor Setup for Thunderbolt 4 Windows Laptops, Thunderbolt Certified Dock with 2x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort, 2.5G Ethernet, 7x USB, SD”. While this one has more ports etc…the main issue has been though I can get the displays working, it’s been a bit erratic. Also the laptop charging USB-C is not working through this new Plugable. Issue 2 I also have a new hard drive that I purchased last year and I finally plugged it in - “SanDisk Professional 18TB G-Drive PRO - Enterprise-Class Desktop Hard Drive, Thunderbolt 3, USB-C, 7200RPM Ultrastar Drive Inside - SDPH51J-018T-NBAAD, Space Grey”, but after much effort though I can see it plugged in, under “Device Manager” yet it’s not showing up as an external drive. I have tried looking into BIOS, initialising the drive etc but I think I need some help to get this external drive to work. I have checked and the drivers seem to be ok. So overall the main issues that need resolving, I need these devices to work while seamlessly switching between the two laptops and also get this external hard drive to work. Home visit of course necessary to sort these issues. Qualified technicians only please. - Due date: Flexible
