We are situated in Manly and have a 2 year old daughter with Global Developmental Delay, and another on the way and due in June. This would be an ongoing position. Our little girl enjoys music, playing with bubbles, looking at picture cards and opening and closing gates and doors. She likes being outdoors and loves car rides and going for walks in her stroller. She's a happy and bubbly girl and thrives on routine, so it can be difficult to her to adjust to changes. She likes interacting with her caregivers and loves getting tickled and chased after. Looking for a nanny, commencing 2 days a week to start off with and progressing to 3 days for the right candidate. Must be available to start early in the mornings. Those with experience and/or an interest in working with children with disabilities, autism, developmental delay, special needs, studying early childhood education or teaching, etc would be highly regarded. Essential duties: - Help get my daughter fed, dressed and ready for the day - Find outside of the home activities to do - drivers licence and own car required - Diaper changes - Help settle her for nap time at midday (she needs to be patted) - Supervise the occupational therapist, physio and/or speech pathologist for at home visits - Other duties as required
