Find a local Tasker to inspect your Volvo in Inner West Sydney

1998 Volvo V70 GLT has freely spinning ignition barrel due to tumbler unit failing. Need locksmith to see if its possible to remove tumbler unit from my car and a spare unit I have from a parts car and then swap my cars pins and insert them into the functioning unit and then into the ignition barrel housing (mounted to the steering column by shear bolts) Extra info: - Definitely not the ignition switch, car still starts as long as I manually crank the switch with a screwdriver (key must be in pos3 or column lock will prevent steering) - I have a key for the spare unit if that helps - I have already tried dealer, new part is VIN specfic and not sold because 25yrs old - Due date: Flexible

Car runs fine but wiring is a mess. Needs complete under-dash and under-hood tidy up and some replacement for safety, reliability and ease of maintenance. This will take some time. Car is garaged but could be brought to some other place to be worked on. Price negotiable on inspection. Must be a qualified auto electrician/mechanic. Job is not urgent. - Due date: Flexible

Regular yearly Volvo S60 servicing

Volvo v50 T5 2010 112000kms Appears to be in excellent condition with extensive documentation and logs I would like the following checked - Overall interior and exterior condition Electrics all functioning Air con ( I live in Cairns) Timing belt replacement Tires Front suspension bushes and ball joints (weakness) Coolant bottle (a weakness so ensure plastic not yellowed) Roof lining sagging Any items needing attention that were written up in the docs Transmission shift quality Car is at a dealer in Croydon, Sydney Please state if you are a certified auto engineer particularly if you have sound knowledge of Volvos or Euro cars I know my way around cars however whilst Syd is still a hotspot I am unable to visit at this time I put the date as Mon 23 however there is a day or two if flexibility Thanks!
