My BMW 320D 2007 had the alternator changed, it’s a the mechanics now, they just called me and told me I had to pay 2100 for what they did to the alternator but the car is not starting due to computer problems. I asked BMW in Fortitude Valley and they told me it wasn’t possible to fix. Can someone help me out or recommend me what to do in this situation? Car couldnt start yesterday, racq came in and changed the 6 year old battery but said the alternator is dead and need a new one. Looking for someone to supply the part and possibly come and fix it on location at riverhills or if too difficult I could get it towed to within 15km of riverhills. Model is bmw 330D 2009. Replace front grill on my 2019 BMW G20. Looks straightforward from YouTube tutorials - only requires one TorxT20 and then the rest are trim clips. Vid link below for reference...they reckon it's a 20 minute job. It's my new car so I'd rather a 'proper' auto guy install it than risk me snapping a clip!
