I bought my car about 2 weeks ago and had a service completed. The engine was getting harder to start every morning and the car would shake massively once the engine first started. If I didn’t move in time, the engine would just cut out. I assumed the battery needed replacing so that got changed a week ago, it started it up smoother to begin with but yesterday and today it’s needed a good 10 goes at turning the key for it to start. I had to hold the key in the turned position for about 30 seconds and it finally started up leaving for work and then the exact same issue after work. (I know this messes with the car but I had no choice). I’m not sure what the issue is or if it needs any parts but I’ve had 2 separate mechanics look at it in the past week and nobody mentioned seeing anything wrong with the battery post or wires if that helps. Ideally need someone to come to my home in Balgowlah to have a look tomorrow as I am hoping to drive it to work on Friday or if I can start it I can drive it to you. Thanks so much.
