We are seeking a licensed builder to build a timber pergola on top of an existing concrete slab. The roof of the pergola needs to be sloped and will come off the roof of the house, as the concrete slab is attached to the side of the house. The concrete slab will need to have either tiles or a deck laid, whichever is less expensive. The slab will need to be leveled before the tiles/deck is laid as it is on too much of a slope. One step off one side of the concrete slab will also need to be built. Insulation is required in the roof of the pergola and space for the installation of lights will need to be accounted for when building the ceiling. Quotations sought. The cheapest/simplest option will be replacing 'like for like' but with a solid 'roof', but I'm open to your suggestions. I'm not wanting to overcapitalise as we may not remain in this home long-term (we're likely to downsize within a few years) but I'm wanting to make the most of our outdoor space and protect our outdoor furniture. One 6 x 7 attached insulate pergola, one 2 x 7 colorbond pergola and one 3 x 5m shed

I would like a few things to be done. It will be a massive job. I would like the following: - Excavation of about 95-100sqm space, concreting and tiling (about 90-95sqm total area) - Approximately 2m x 6m attached attahced colorbond pergola on the side of the house - 42sqm (6m x 7m) insulated pergola with a kitchenette (requires hot and cold plumbing, lighting and 2x ceiling fans). We would like to have a glass fence around the whole pergola, preferably also having automatic blinds - 3m x 5m 2 door shed (1 on the inside with a divider wall as we would like to separate it and install a dog bath. Would require hot and cold plumbing too and lighting and PowerPoint's. - Artificial Turf, Cherry Blossom tree supplied and installed, along with pavers surrounding it and general aesthetic pavers. All materials and tools are to be supplied and installed by contractor. Would need a certifier for the main pergola as it will be over 25sqm.
