Need a carpenter to come and fill in the hole on the pergola. It’s about 10m long and 300mm wide. I want to use something thatcan get wet and not rot. I was thinking 2 x 140 stripes of merbu or something like that. Even a cement sheet. Open to suggestions. My pergola is leaking water in a few places during heavy rains, especially around its metal fittings. Not sure about the extent of the damage so I was hoping to get a quote or an onsite inspection. I have tried putting epoxy putty and roof leak sealant but that hasn’t helped. I have attached some photos, let me know what you guys think. P.S. I am putting a budget of $5 as I am not sure about the extent of the damage, this will likely require an onsite inspection and therefore will be a larger quotable job.
