What is a Top Offer?<\/h2>\n

Offers are now scored and ranked, with the highest one marked as the Top Offer. Our new offer ranking system has been designed with both Customers and Taskers in mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Customers<\/strong>, it simplifies the process by ranking offers against a consistent criteria. <\/span>This makes it easier to spot the Tasker who\u2019s the best fit for the task and reduces decision paralysis.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Taskers<\/strong>, it means you get assigned quicker, which can help with work scheduling. <\/span>It also gives you clear goals to aim for to be ranked higher and recognized for great work.<\/span><\/p>\n

How does the offer ranking system work?<\/h2>\n

The highest ranking offer is marked as the Top Offer. The rest of the offers are ranked in descending order.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our offer ranking system is based on a sophisticated machine learning model that\u2019s been trained on what offers Customers have chosen in the past and present, and is continuously learning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n

Will lower-priced offers automatically get ranked higher?<\/h3>\n

Price is just one of many factors in how offers are ranked. Unrealistically low offers won\u2019t be ranked higher just for being cheap. <\/span><\/p>\n

We recommend pricing competitively for the value you provide, but don\u2019t undersell yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n

The ranking system has been trained on all kinds of offers that Customers choose (including those at higher prices) so fair, well-valued offers still have a great chance of being ranked highly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will the same Tasker get selected as the Top Offer every time?<\/h3>\n

Not necessarily! Each task is looked at individually.<\/p>\n

The ranking system compares all offers side-by-side and takes into account the above variables like ratings, experience in the task category, response rate, etc.<\/p>\n

So while a Tasker might be chosen as the Top Offer on one task, they may not be the best fit on another. This way, every Tasker has a fair shot at being picked as the Top Offer.<\/p>\n

Do new Taskers have a chance of being selected as the Top Offer?<\/h3>\n

Absolutely. The offer ranking system is designed to give everyone a fair chance, including new Taskers.<\/p>\n

Since the system is built on past and current data, it includes offers made by Taskers who were brand new when they first got assigned.<\/p>\n

To boost your chances as a new Tasker:<\/p>\n
