Why are we doing this?<\/h2>\n

We first launched #Caretasker back in 2020 to help Australians recover from the bushfires.<\/p>\n

But recently, we\u2019ve been devastated to see the damage caused to our communities by the heavy rains, wild weather and exceptional flooding, so we decided to bring the program back.<\/p>\n

As an Australian-made marketplace, we\u2019ve always had the community at the core of our product and everything we do. In this spirit, we want to make it easier for people to share their skills and help each other during this critical time.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been truly inspiring to see Australia come together. We hope our #Caretasker program will play a small part in bringing people together, too.<\/p>\n

How #Caretasker works<\/h2>\n

For a limited time, we\u2019re monitoring the jobs posted from flood-affected areas with #Caretasker in the description.<\/p>\n

If your eligible task<\/strong><\/a> helps with repairs and recovery, we\u2019ll add a no-strings-attached, once-off Airtasker credit of up to $200 to your Airtasker account to put towards it. You\u2019ll get a confirmation email when it happens.<\/p>\n

Eligible tasks could include flood-related tasks like rubbish removal, cleaning, supply delivery, removals and plumbing, to name a few.<\/p>\n

#Caretasker for Taskers<\/h2>\n

We want to encourage as many people as possible to pitch in with the recovery efforts. And, we know some Taskers may have been affected by the floods, too.<\/p>\n

For a limited time, we\u2019ll be refunding your service fee if you\u2019re a Tasker who\u2019s completed an eligible task in a flood-affected area.<\/p>\n

Finish the job, get paid, and keep an eye on your email to see if your service fee refund is on its way.<\/p>\n
