It is your responsibility to stay up to date with the latest advice in your area before you post or complete a task. If you\u2019re in doubt as to whether you should proceed with a task, we advise you to not put yourself at risk and follow the advice from your State or Territory Government.<\/p>\n<p>Your health and safety is really important to us, so we&#8217;ve pulled together some tips to help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airtasker.com\/covid-19-safety-centre-helpful-tips-for-tasker-safety\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taskers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airtasker.com\/covid-19-safety-centre-helpful-tips-for-customer-safety\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customers<\/a> stay safe whist completing and posting tasks. Where possible, either look to complete tasks remotely or reschedule them to a later date. If you\u2019re unsure about whether you should proceed with a task, Airtasker advises you to not put yourself, or the community, at risk.<\/p>\n<p>Airtasker is focused on providing a safe and informed platform to support our community during this difficult time.<\/p>\n<h3>Other things you can do to help reduce the spread of COVID-19<\/h3>\n<p><b>Apply for a COVID-19 Vaccination\u00a0Badge<\/b><br \/>\nIf you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you can let others know by adding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airtasker.com\/covidvaccinationbadge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COVID-19 Vaccination Badge<\/a> to your profile.<\/p>\n<p><b>Wash your hands<br \/>\n<\/b>To keep yourself and your family safe when you leave home you should wash your hands before you leave and when you return home.<\/p>\n<p><b>Maintain physical distance<br \/>\n<\/b>Keep at least 1.5 metres between yourself and others.<\/p>\n<p><b>Cover your face<br \/>\n<\/b>Where physical distancing is not possible, wear a mask or cover your face. Check Government directions in your state or territory regarding when masks must be worn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get tested for COVID-19<br \/>\n<\/strong>If you&#8217;re experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, speak to your doctor about getting tested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay home<br \/>\n<\/strong>If you&#8217;re experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, or have been instructed by a medical professional to self-isolate, stay at home to protect the people around you.<\/p>\n<p>Still have questions or concerns? It is the responsibility of all Taskers to be up to date with the latest Government advice to ensure the service they\u2019re providing in the course of their work adhere to the most up to date Government restrictions. If you are in an area with a Government-mandated lockdown and can only leave home for essential services, please keep this in mind when posting tasks and accepting offers.
