Hi there, I need someone to replace the alternator in a 2004 Toyota Corolla sedan, auto 1.8L and charge the battery. I have already purchased a new alternator to fit the vehicle so just a case of swaping it over and the battery will need to be charged. A roadside assist mechanic diagonised the alternator as the cause of the flat battery. I have previously posted this task but an unexpected change in circumstances meant I was not in a position to proceed. I'm all good to proceed with this next week on either Tuesday arvo, or on Wednesday (16th & 17th April) next week if you're available then the please give me a quote. The car is currently parked outdoors on a fairly quiet back street of North Fitzroy so I am after a mobile mechanic to attend.

Anyone near who can jump Start my car's battery? I don't have any equipment with me so you would need to bring the cables or whatever is need it.

The battery on our Toyota Hiace van (2009) keeps draining and we once again can’t start the van. The advice we got from the RACV was that an aftermarket Nokia bluetooth phone kit had been wrongly wired (by the previous owner) to directly draw from the battery and had been drawing it when off. We cut the wire thinking this would solve the issue but it hasn’t.
