I’m looking for an experienced garage door technician to diagnose and repair my garage door. The door opens and closes smoothly by hand, so the rollers, tracks and door itself appear to move freely. When operated by the motor, the door opens normally until about 70%. Beyond that, it starts rubbing on the left side and the curtain begins to overlap/misalign on the drum. If it continues opening, the curtain bunches up instead of wrapping evenly. I initially thought it was an opener limit issue, but after testing, it appears the problem is more likely related to the door alignment, drum, tracks or cable adjustment. The opener is a HomeEntry HERDO1.
