Two tasks required on separate days. Day 1: Remove existing cooktop and cap the gas hose/supply. Day 2: Install new cooktop and commission the unit. Complication is that I need to get a stonemason in to make the cutout slightly larger for the new cooktop between Days 1 & 2.

I have replace the old thermocouple with a new thermocouple from bunnings warehouse already. And you can have a look at it to see if its look ok.
