Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.Â
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. Then they’re going to have it ready to complete your condenser or vented tumble dryer installation.
Connecting your appliance

We need to replace an LED light on one of our dryers. We run a free laundry and shower service for those experiencing homeless, with 2 washers and two dryers in the back of vans. The replacement part is in the van, the steps we need taken are: Ensure power is off 1. Remove the front face of the dryer (top panel with the buttons in it) by removing 2 x torx screws 2. Disconnect plugs - 1 x blue plug and 1 x white plug. 3. Locate, disconnect and remove the broken Red LED light. 4. Fit new LED light to control panel and crimp on red connectors. 5. Refit font panel 6. Plug in white and blue plugs 7. Connect red LED light (2 x red crimp terminals) 8. Refit pane with 2 x torx screws 9. Re-connect power and test operation of dryer, ensuring red LED is illuminating. We can provide technical assistance over the phone if required.
Highly recommended. Great communication and technical skill; was able to repair our machine without the need for our replacement part which we can hold on for the future. Great to work with.
