Washing machine has stopped working mid cycle. It is a Miele novomatic. The door won't open, it's making very loud noises and appears to be leaking from underneath. The door won't open to allow me to remove the load of laundry.

I bought a washing machine from a friend that hasn’t been in use for a year, but worked perfectly well previously. It turned on fine, and did two washes no problems, but now won’t turn on at all - no lights or anything. It’s an LG washer/dryer. Please help, it was so much effort to get in and fixing it would solve an awkward conversation…

My washing is not turning on anymore, it’s a Samsung, probably 3 or 4 years of use. Could anyone come and have a look and give me quote of what needs to be done?

The machine functions well but will not start the wash sometimes. We normally fix by turning off at the wall, and turning back on a few hours later. All buttons/lights/etc work well just seems temperamental. The wall-power fix is less and less effective and sometimes takes a few days for it to be operational again.

Kogan portable aircon broken - not sure what’s wrong with it but the compressor doesn’t seem to come on. The wire is also broken so the plug needs replacing (don’t believe this is the cause of the issue as I’ve used electrical tape and it worked fine) Looking to get it fixed and would like to get a quote thanks! - Due date: Flexible

The fridge fan makes a “clunking” sound - as long as this sound continues the fridge works ok. But lately the sound has stopped and then everything in the fridge freezes to ice. I assume the problem is a “clunking” fridge fan that gets stuck and then keeps generating too much cold air in the fridge causing things to freeze (?) The fridge also used to occasionally beep - assume that problem is related. The freezer works fine. lg tv has stopped working. When the power is switched in it just stays black. We had an electrician look at it but could not work out what is wrong. It was working fine and then one day just went black and never worked again - Due date: Flexible
