My Smeg dishwasher previously worked fine, but all of a sudden won't start anymore! It still turns on/is connected to power. It just won't start a cycle when I push the door shut like it used to. - Due date: Flexible

I have an under bench SMEG dishwasher, I've never used it because it was in my flat when I brought it and there was something malfunctioning with the door. It was very difficult to close. Now that my husband has closed it I can't open it (nor can he). I'd like to get it repaired if possible. The dishwasher is not working. The problem is when they start the dishwasher, it start for couple of minutes then stop, they try it with and without dishes, checked the filters to see if they need to be cleaned, all seems normal.
