Home air con unit: Samsung Cassette Inverter A/C The fault has been assessed and diagnosed by an a/c tech, and I have purchased the parts required. I was quoted $250 by Camtec to fit the parts and I’m happy to pay this to someone else as they keep stuffing me about due to “staff shortages” or “technician is sick” or “we need to write a quote before we can assign the job” etc etc finally got a quote, waited another 4 weeks for scheduled time and have been hit with another bunch of excuses. So if anyone is interested in fitting these parts, the outdoor fan motor and the indoor control board. The outdoor unit is fixed to the side of the house (it’s not a unit on the roof) and the indoor unit is a square cassette in the middle of our living room. I’m pretty certain it’s simply a matter of unscrewing the old part and fitting the new one in its place.
