A small Service Based Company located in Richmond have an opening for a Contract Book Keeping position for an experienced bookkeeper to work at its office to monitor the finances of the company. These Services will be required 3 Days per Week. The candidate must be trustworthy, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, organized, and have knowledge of the Accountancy Platform, XERO. This person will be responsible for the organization’s billing, accounting, reconcilliations and General Data Entry procedures. The candidate must work independently but will be assisted by a data entry staff member to enter daily financial data and vendor invoices in XERO Some of tasks expected for this position are as follows; - Record financial transactions. - Handle accounts payable. - Handle Accounts Receivable - Prepare financial Reports. - Assist with Company OHS Certifications - Manage Staff Inductions Job Type: Contract Ongoing Schedule: * Hours 9-5 for 3 Days per Week (24 Hours) Experience: Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred) - Due date: Flexible

I am an electrical contractor operating as a sole trader and badly need help with my book keeping and working out my tax. I have only been operating for 4 months and need someone to teach me how to do my books before it gets out of control.
