I dont have the system as yet but wanted some advice prior to buying the system and then will have someone come set on up. Our house has the wiring for the set up done. Previous people had a 7.1 system in. The wires connect to the outside speakers in the ceiling. There are two wires on the rear wall and that’s for the back speakers. The front the wall is wired for left and right speakers and a middle speaker and there will be two wires for the speakers in the ceiling. The whole setup is for a 7.1 system, 7 speakers and a subwoofer. tv mounted on the wall and the wires are all run behind the wall.. I was wondering if i can purchase a 5.1k system or does it have to be a 7.1k system?

Unable to get TV reception properly, if somehow get reception it's very blurry. I have even bought new cables to see if that was the problem but no change in reception. So there must be an issue with roof top antenna.
